DISCIPLESHIP
Since we are a day camp, kids go home each evening, providing an incredible opportunity for us to invest in our walk with Jesus together as a community. Through worship, prayer, Bible study, sharing testimony together, and fun, we engage with one another in what God is doing in, through, and around us. We RECEIVE and RESPOND so that we might be sent out once again to REVERBERATE.
Our Summer Schedule
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
- Philippians 2:3-4

We invite folks who are enthused and willing, to give their summer to the mission of Jesus here at Fircreek through the summer months.
PAID SUMMER STAFF DATES

Leadership Training Weekends June 4th-8th
All Staff Training June 8th-June 15th
Summer Camp Weeks June 8th-August 22nd

We encounter God through song, His word, and relationships built first through the language of play. If “Joy is the serious business of heaven” (C.S. Lewis), then we work hard!
These relationships often open the door for us to introduce Jesus to kids and families from a place of love and care, as God uses us as missionaries to seek those who may not yet know him.
PLAY ON MISSION
SHEMA PRAYER
In scripture one of the teachers of the law asks Jesus what the greatest commandment is. He responds with what we call the Shema, which means to listen . . . we read this in Mark and recite it as a staff to remind ourselves of what is most important to The Father . . .

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, "is this:
‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ’There is no commandment greater than these."

PROGRAM
JOIN OUR SUMMER VOLUNTEER TEAM
We have an incredible short term volunteer opportunity called the E.F.R.T. Program. Made up of these four key pillars -- Energy, Faith, Responsibility, and Training. Through our short two week sessions we invite students ages 14-17 to join The Creek community and learn what it means to serve Jesus in the context of camp. Many of our E.F.R.T.s then go on to be incredible camp counselors and leadership staff. Check out our session dates below.
Session 1 June 22 - July 3
Session 2 July 6 - 18
Session 3 July 20 - Aug 1
